Types of Amplifiers

Class A
At the quiescent point (0 input) significant current is being conducted.
Class B
At the quiescent point (0 input) no current is being conducted.
Class AB
At the quiescent point (0 input) a small current is being conducted, so that the amplifier is just barely on.
Class C
